Copy of Vorm B shows that Willem Hendrik Fourie lived at PK Putfontein, Plot 75 Benoni. Fought with Koos De La Rey; Generaal, Veldkornet Jan Vermeulen. He fought from “aan begin 1899, 5 maande donbyn in Imbalula Kamp” Then he fought at Bronkhorstpruit; Brakspruit, Fort Matyen; Lucktenburg. Generaal Gelge. There is also a handwritten letter of his service in the War. He applied in 1949 so his medal has the Africa Service suspender.
