I have acquired a QSA/KSA pair to the above gentleman who died of Enteric Fever at Potchefstroom on 13 May 1903.

Barrington had commanded the 38th Coy. Royal Engineers in South Africa.

The QSA has clasps CC and OFS and the KSA the normal two date clasps.

On this site there is, under the RE section, a photograph of the officers of the 38th Coy. Would anyone know if this was named and if there is any other source from which a photo or more details about the recipient can be obtained?

Regards

Rory

Rory,

The photo came from The Transvaal War Album. Sadly there were no names for the men in the picture (or most of the pictures from the Album) :(
