What does everyone think about the Naming on this one?????

He was supposed to be killed at Colenso but the naming looks WW1 type.....

From the very small pics it looks ok - no indication on the medal roll to indicate a late issue.

I agree that the numbers look a little slanted, especially the 5, but there doesn't look to be any rubbing or obvious attempted erasing, but as Meurig says, the photo is a little small.

Looks like the seller has 100% feedback, whatever that is meant to be!!

Just looking at the medal roll and the name could be Pengelly as the first e which is an e looks the same as the i, which could be an e, sorry to be confusing, but there is also a James Pengelly entitled to an India medal, number 3218 from the 1st Devons, could be a brother?
