Evening I am trying to establish the value of these medals that were awarded to Mr J. Bobbins during the Anglo Boer War.
The one medal is of more interest than the others, the one with the blue and yellow ribbon. I did some research and was told that there were only 23 of these medals with the three bars issued and this is what makes this medal so rare. I tried to upload a better photo from my computer however the resolution was too high. The three bars on his medal were as follows. Basutoland, Bechuanaland and Transkei.
I have been offered the option to buy these medals. The small heart shape medal is solid gold.
