Another recent acquisition was the group to Captain Andries Johannes Weeks of the SAC, the Potchefstroom Commando and the 1st S.A.H. (these last two in WWI)

Weeks epitomised all that was "wrong" about South Africa in the 1920's, which makes him an interesting study. The QSA/KSA combination to the SAC is not unusual and I have a few myself but, the problem with Weeks was that his KSA was issued in error with him only having served 12 of the required 18 months in order to qualify. When asked to return the KSA he bluntly refused!
