Hi all - bit puzzled on this one as I've been trying to find the medal entitlement to 3059 PTR E. H. PRICE B.Co. SOUTH WALES BORDERERS. Does anyone know what he would have been entitled to? I do know the Borderers only really saw service during the later stages of the war.
Many thanks if anyone can throw light on this for me.

WO97 confirms Edwin Price, having transferred to the reserve in 1896 was discharged for misconduct on the 28th of September 1899.

I am very sure that he did not rejoin his old unit.....

If he joined another unit he would most likely have had to change his name.......

Yet I have the initial set where a Colonel deemed to old for WW1 resigned his commission and joined another unit using his wife's maiden name, true he was discharged after a couple of months as being unfit for service......
