This rare set of full size naval medals consist a Queens South Africa with 3 bars Driefontein Paardeberg Cape Colony engraved to the edge " 186053 A-B: A GILBERT HMS DORIS ". A World War One trio engraved " 186053 A GILBERT ACT. C.P.O. R.N ". A Long Service & Good Conduct Medal engraved " 186053 ARCHIBALD GILBERT P.O 1.C.L H.M.S HECLA " and a Naval Good Shot medal which is engraved " 186053 A. GILBERT P.O 1.C.L H.M.S FIREDRAKE 1913 4IN B.L ". This set of medals were found in a house clearance and are fresh to the market and unresearched and I believe there were less than a thousand of the Naval good shot medals ever issued.
