You just get any of the South African researchers to get you a copy, I certainly would not recommend one more so than another, I always found the late Gordon Bickley very good, but, these days, I would think Audrey Portman or similar would be able to do a very quick turn around for you.

I use Dewald Nel, he has a quick turnaround and scans the docs in colour and then emails them to you. R100 for successful search.

He has all the DTD/ABO/LvW application forms already scanned on computer. In addition you get copies of correspondence on the file. Your medal was issued prior to October 1937

Over the years I have noted a few mistakes and omissions in the published Forsyth Roll : this probably is one of them.

I think it is a super medal in it's own right, one of the absolute joys of these is that, if you are buying them without any research whatsoever, you really don't know if you are actually buying someone very special indeed, until you have checked exactly who the recipient was.
