That medal is certainly renamed and not officially either, there is no reason to ever buy a medal like that, on it's own as a single medal, if, on the other hand, it was part of a group and actually worn by the recipient, for what ever the reason, then it would be a different matter altogether.
Officially renamed medals are okay as far as I am concerned if you are looking for an individual recipient, whose medal was issued like that, or to a unit whose medals were issued like that and where no better alternative exists, otherwise I would avoid them too.
Really though, with the QSA, they are quite common medals, so, in all honesty, it is better just to buy the very best you can, without the any naming issues.
When you get into the Great War and just beyond, in particular, you start to see all the official corrections as things got sloppy at the mint and their contractors, it really was a case of "waste not, want not" in the immediate aftermath, but, that was understandable given the financial climate back in those days.
