Good Morning Everyone......

Like the old saying goes "When it Rains it Pour's"......

As seen in this thread:

www.angloboerwar.com/forum/5-medals-and-...ival-with-a-question

I was able to pick up a QSA to the East Surrey Regiment who while with the 4th Battalion, "D" Company was present at the Relief of O'okiep.....

As many members know I am trying to get one medal from every unit that served in SA, well I had an East Surrey (not a relief) but had to let it go many years ago so wanted another and was able to get the one in the previous thread.....

Well in the matter of less that one month I was able to find another......

NORTH, E.

REG. NO.: 1886
RANK: PRIVATE

REGT: EAST SURREY REGIMENT
BARS: CAPE COLONY, SOUTH AFRICA 1902

REMARKS / HISTORY:
1) Served in “B” Company, 4th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment at the relief of O'okiep.
2) WORLD WAR ONE 1915 TRIO – 17277 Gunner E. North, R.F.A./R.A.
