Hi.I have an old smallish trestle table with wrought iron legs.Top is pine with metal on corners. Markings stamped on top metal corners are as follows.Broad arrow with F under one WDC under 16 under VDM under another.MARS printed with very fine weld.Looks like small pin-head weld spots that write the letters MARS.Stamped also is Stokes . Stevens&Son 1900 .Another place is stamped EMMA ORTON 1895 and EMMA ORTON 1900.On the stands is stamped DOUGLASS BROS LT C&M 1902. Can anybody shed any light on this table for me please. I hope i am in the right place. Thanks.

Making,

It sounds an interesting table. Can you upload a picture?

Apparently, Ames Stokes Stevens has been a supplier of metal work to a wide variety of industries since 1847. They are situated at the heart of the West Midlands motorway network, near to Spagetti Junction. They make hinges and box fittings.

Kind regards
David
