It is noticeable that this site is being increasingly accessed by mobile devices. I know from personal experience that it is not very easy to navigate on a phone.

A new version of the site has been created that can differentiate between the type of device accessing it. This makes the presentation on phones and tables much better.

This is the URL for the test site: www.abwtest.co.uk/

The test site has a copy of the live site from yesterday morning and is in every way usable in the same way as the live system. You can log on, post to the forum etc.

The test site has a slightly different look to the current live site. Any thoughts on the new look would be appreciated.

There is still work outstanding on the test site:

- PDF are not currently searchable
- The layout of the main menu can be improved
- Other areas I have not fully tested ...

Kind regards
David

Here is a comparison of a recent post from the forum viewed on a mobile phone first from the live site and second from the test site.

The latter is much easier to read.

Morning David,
On my mobile at the moment so tried the test site. I like it, much easier to navigate and the lay out is more suitable for a phone.
Thumbs up from me, well done ;)

Only had a quick look using my phone but it is certainly easier to view/use on a phone than the standard version.

Thanks
