A day of disaster for the British Army at Roodewal, the bridge at Rhenoster river distroyed, the garrisons of Vredefort Road Station, Roodewal and Rhenoster River surrounded and forced to surrender after the dawn attack by De Wet's commando.
And with the very serious loss of £100.000 worth of supplies, not a great day!
