Would love to locate the QSA awarded to Francis Laing Paterson, ( name sometimes spelt with two ts) the medal had 4 clasps Elandslaagte, Defence of Ladysmith, Cape colony and Orange Free State, I have had the info the latter were earned while with Kitcheners Horse. The last notice of this medal was when it was sold in London in 1977. This relative returned to the U.K. served as Sgt. Instructor in Buckie with a territorial unit, where he commited suicide in 1913. Any help greatly appreciated.
