This entry is incorrect!! He was not released on this date but kept prisoner at Pretoria until his release in June 1900!! - His full name is William Leonard Bertram ‘Bertie’ Hill, son of Major W. A. Hill (later Colonel Sir, K.C.B., commanding 3rd Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment).
