Drop me an email address so that I can send you the attestation pages for 2407 Pte James Steel.

There are 8 pages altogether and his Reg number of 2407 is recorded on top of his Medical Certificate page. He attested in February 1902 so this will account for the single clasp. Most of the chaps had the CC and OFS clasps to the QSA but he joined up with only a few months to go in Maitland, Cape Town. Probably had a very cushy war under the shadow of Table Mountain.No previous military experience.
