A great read Rory and congrats on the research, spurs me on to see if my Sergeant to the Vystaat Artillery also had such an interesting past along with research possibilities?

Thanks Brian - as the Americans are wont to say "you ain't seen nothing yet" - thanks in the main to MC Heunis in Bloemfontein I have an entire dossier on Hartman which I must now conjure up into a story.
