My wife just phoned me with the news that she had successfully bid on a QSA at a local auction - this was to Lieut. J.C. Peake of the Prince Alf Vol Gds (so named on the medal)

The QSA comes with clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Johannesburg.

I don't have access to the medal rolls and would appreciate a look-up to verify his entitlement. I would also like to know if this comination of clasps has any significance or was it common for the unit?

Any info on Peake would be highly appreciated.
