Can anyone help me decipher this signature. It is at the back of a Pretoria Gouvernement's Noot and was probably issued in the field by the man who signed it. The only clue I have is that below the signature is written "Wnd (?) Landdrost" (acting (?) Magistrate)

We gave a __ hoop and hurrah and rushed on them with the bayonet and in about a minute there was such a pandemonium as you never saw. We stayed there long enough to bayonet all that were in the trench and then __ __ over the veldt for the town.

This is how I see it:

First word is Who-hoop (a huntsman's cry, as in "Tally-ho, tally-ho, who-hoop"; see below), and the other two came away.
